Say thou; my Lord! if Thou wilt shew me that wherewith they are threatened. 93 My Lord! then place me not among the wrong-doing people. 94 Surely We are able to show you what We warn them against. 95 (O Muhammad)! Repel evil in the best manner. We are well aware of all that they say about you. 96 Say: "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the evil promptings of the devils. 97 "And I seek refuge with You, My Lord! lest they may attend (or come near) me." 98 lt ceaseth not until when death cometh to one of them, and he saith: my Lord! send me back. 99 that I should do righteousness in that I forsook' No! It is only a word which he will speak. Behind them there shall stand a barrier till the Day that they shall be resurrected. 100 So when the trumpet is blown, there shall be no ties of relationship between them on that day, nor shall they ask of each other. 101 Then he whose scales are heavy -- they are the prosperers, 102 But those whose scales are light - those are the ones who have lost their souls, [being] in Hell, abiding eternally. 103 The Fire will sear their faces, and they therein will have taut smiles. 104 Were not My messages recited to you and did you not reject them? 105 They will say, "Our Lord, our wretchedness overcame us, and we were a people astray. 106 “Our Lord, remove us from hell – then if we do the same, we are the unjust.” 107 He will say: 'Slink there in it and do not speak to Me' 108 Verily! There was a party of My slaves, who used to say: "Our Lord! We believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of all who show mercy!" 109 you made a laughingstock of them and your hostility to them caused you to forget Me, and you simply kept laughing. 110 On this day I have given them their reward for their exercising patience and it is they who have triumphed." 111 [Allah] will say, "How long did you remain on earth in number of years?" 112 They will reply: 'A day, or part of a day; ask those who have kept count' 113 He will say, "You stayed not but a little - if only you had known. 114 Then did you think that We created you uselessly and that to Us you would not be returned?" 115 So Most Supreme is Allah, the True King; there is no God except Him; Lord of the Throne of Honour. 116 And whosoever calls upon another god with God, whereof he has no proof, his reckoning is with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not prosper. 117 And (O Muhammad) say: My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for Thou art Best of all who show mercy. 118
