Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Qaf. I swear by the glorious Quran (that Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah) 1 They are rather surprised that a warner from among themselves has come to them. So the unbelievers say: "This is astonishing: 2 What! when we are dead and have become dust? That is afar (from probable) return. 3 We already know how much of them the earth takes away: With Us is a record guarding (the full account). 4 In fact, they have rejected the truth that has come to them, thus, they live in confusion. 5 Have they not looked at the heaven above them - how We structured it and adorned it and [how] it has no rifts? 6 And the earth- We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and produced therein every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs)- 7 Giving insight and a reminder for every servant who turns [to Allah]. 8 And We send down blessed water (rain) from the sky, then We produce therewith gardens and grain (every kind of harvests) that are reaped. 9 And tall (and stately) palm-trees, with shoots of fruit-stalks, piled one over another;- 10 As a provision for our bondmen; and therewith We have quickened a dead land. Even so will be the coming forth. 11 The people of Noah, Ar-Rass and Thamud denied before you, 12 And (the tribe of) A'ad, and Pharaoh, and the brethren of Lot, 13 The Companions of the Wood, and the People of Tubba'; each one (of them) rejected the messengers, and My warning was duly fulfilled (in them). 14 Were We then weary with the first Creation, that they should be in confused doubt about a new Creation? 15
