We built the heaven with might, and We widely extended it. 47 And We made the earth a base, so how well do We lay out! 48 And We created pairs of everything that you may contemplate. 49 Therefore hasten to God; truly, I am sent by Him to give you clear warning. 50 “And do not appoint other deities along with Allah; indeed I am from Him, a clear Herald of Warning towards you.” 51 Even so there came no messenger unto those before them but they said: A wizard or a madman! 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 Therefore turn away from them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), – so there is no blame upon you. 54 And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers. 55 And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me. 56 I seek not any provision from them, nor I desire that they should feed Me. 57 Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength. 58 The wrongdoers will meet the same fate as their predecessors, let them not ask Me to hasten on [the punishment], 59 So ruin is for disbelievers, from their day – which they are promised. 60
