And never think that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them for a Day when eyes will stare [in horror]. 42 (And) they would hasten forward, heads lifted upwards, gazes fixed, and emptied out their hearts. 43 (Muhammad), warn the people of the day when torment will approach them and the unjust will say, "Lord, give us respite for a little time so that we may answer your call and follow the Messengers." (The answer to their prayer will be), "Did you not swear before that you would never perish? 44 "And ye dwelt in the dwellings of men who wronged their own souls; ye were clearly shown how We dealt with them; and We put forth (many) parables in your behoof!" 45 And they have indeed planned their plan, but their plan is with Allah, though their plan was such that the mountains should pass away thereby. 46 So deem not thou that Allah is going to fail His promise to His apostles; verily Allah is Mighty, Lord of vengeance 47 On the day when the earth will be changed to other than this earth, and the heavens – and they will all come forth standing before Allah, the One, the Dominant above all. 48 And you will see the Mujrimun (criminals, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism, polytheists, disobedient to Allah, etc.) that Day bound together in fetters; [Muqarranun in fetters; mean:- with their hands and feet tied to their necks with chains.] 49 Their shirts made of pitch and the fire covering their faces 50 so that Allah may requite each person for his deeds. Allah is swift in reckoning. 51 This is an admonition for the people that they will be warned and know that He is the only God, and so that the people of understanding may take heed. 52
