Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for such as fear the time when they will stand before (the Judgment Seat of) their Lord, there will be two Gardens- 46 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 47 Having in them various kinds. 48 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 49 In them (each) will be two Springs flowing (free); 50 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 51 In both of them are two pairs of every fruit. 52 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 53 [They are] reclining on beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging low. 54 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 55 Therein shall be those of refraining looks whom before them hath deflowered neither man nor jinn. 56 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 57 (In beauty) like the jacynth and the coral-stone. 58 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 59 Can the reward of goodness be any other than goodness? 60 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 61 And besides those two will be yet two [other] gardens 62 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 63 Densely covered with foliage, appearing dark. 64 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 65 In both of them are two springs gushing forth. 66 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 67 With fruits in them, and dates and pomegranates -- 68 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 69 In these [gardens] will be [all] things most excellent and beautiful. 70 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 71 Pure ones confined to the pavilions. 72 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 73 Whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them - 74 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and rich carpets excellent. 76 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 77 Blessed be the name of thy Lord, Mighty and glorious! 78

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
