The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 He who fears will mind, 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
