Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Qaf. By the Glorious Qur'an, 1 Aye! they marvel that there hath come unto them a warner from among themselves; so the infidels Say: this is a thing wondrous! 2 "What! When we die and become dust, (shall we live again?) That is a (sort of) return far (from our understanding)." 3 We know what the earth diminishes of them; with Us is a book recording. 4 Nay, but they have denied the truth when it came unto them, therefor they are now in troubled case. 5 So did they not see the sky above them – how We have made it and beautified it, and there are no cracks in it? 6 And the earth! We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and have produced therein every kind of lovely growth (plants). 7 To give sight and as a reminder to every servant who turns frequently (to Allah). 8 And We send down blessed water (rain) from the sky, then We produce therewith gardens and grain (every kind of harvests) that are reaped. 9 And tall (and stately) palm-trees, with shoots of fruit-stalks, piled one over another;- 10 As provision for the servants, and We have given life thereby to a dead land. Thus is the resurrection. 11 And before them the people of Nuh belied, and so did the dwellers of Rass and the Thamud. 12 And the tribe of 'Ad, and Pharaoh, and the brethren of Lot, 13 And the dwellers of the Wood, and the people of Tubba'; everyone of them denied (their) Messengers, so My Threat took effect. 14 What, were We wearied by the first creation? No indeed; but they are in uncertainty as to the new creation. 15
