The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the Glorious Morning Light, 1 And by the night when it is stillest, 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee nor doth He hate thee, 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 soon you will be gratified with what your Lord will give you. 5 Found He not thee an orphan, so He sheltered thee? 6 And found you deeply engrossed in His love, so directed you? 7 And He found thee in need, and made thee independent. 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, 9 And as to the beggar, chide thou him not. 10 and proclaim the bounties of your Lord. 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
