1/2 Hizb 36
< random >
When the believers are called to God and His Messenger to be judged, their only words are, "We have listened and obeyed." They will have everlasting happiness. 51 Whoever obeys God and His Prophet, fears God and does his duty to Him, will surely find success. 52 ۞ And they swear by Allah with their solemn oaths that, if thou commandest them they will surely go forth. Say thou: swear not, obedience is recognized! verily Allah is Aware of that which ye work. 53 Say: "Pay heed unto God, and pay heed unto the Apostle." And if you turn away [from the Apostle, know that] he will have to answer only for whatever he has been charged with, and you, for what you have been charged with; but if you pay heed unto him, you will be on the right way. Withal, the Apostle is not bound to do more than clearly deliver the message [entrusted to him]. 54 God has promised to those among you who believe and do good works that He will surely grant them power in the land as He granted to those who were before them; and that He will surely establish for them their religion which He has chosen for them. He will cause their state of fear to be replaced by a sense of security. Let them worship Me and associate no other with Me. Whoever still chooses to deny the truth is truly rebellious. 55 Attend to your prayers and pay the zakat and obey the Messenger, so that you may be shown mercy. 56 Think not the unbelievers able to frustrate God in the earth; their refuge is the Fire -- an evil homecoming. 57
