Q (Qaaf)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By Qaf and the glorious Quran, (you are the Messenger of God). 1 Indeed, they are astonished that a warner should have come to them from among themselves. So these deniers of the truth say, "This is indeed a strange thing, 2 When we are dead and turned to dust, this returning (to life) is most far-fetched." 3 We know indeed what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a writing that preserves. 4 Aye! they belie the truth when it cometh unto them; wherefore they are in an affair confused. 5 Have they not looked at the heaven above them, how We have made it and adorned it, and there are no rifts in it? 6 And the earth have We spread out, and have flung firm hills therein, and have caused of every lovely kind to grow thereon, 7 An insight and a Reminder for every slave turning to Allah (i.e. the one who believes in Allah and performs deeds of His obedience, and always begs His pardon). 8 And We send down blessed water (rain) from the sky, then We produce therewith gardens and grain (every kind of harvests) that are reaped. 9 And tall date-palms with their spathes pile on pile 10 A sustenance for the servants, and We give life thereby to a dead land; thus is the rising. 11 Before them, the people of Noah and the people of Rass denied this truth; and so did the people of Thamud. 12 And 'Ad, and Fir'aun (Pharaoh), and the brethren of Lout (Lot), 13 And the dwellers of the Wood, and the people of Tubba'; everyone of them denied (their) Messengers, so My Threat took effect. 14 Were We then worn out by the first creation? Yet they are in doubt about a second creation. 15
