In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the event befalleth - 1 There is no belying its coming to pass-- 2 It will abase some and exalt others. 3 When the earth will tremble, shivering. 4 And the mountains are crumbled, crumbled. 5 becoming scattered dust, 6 You shall then become three groups. 7 The People on the Right: and how fortunate will be the People on the Right! 8 Those on the Left -- how unlucky are those on the Left! 9 And the Outstrippers, the Outstrippers 10 These will be those Nearest to Allah: 11 In the Gardens of Pleasure, 12 A multitude of those of old 13 and a few from later times. 14 On studded thrones. 15 Reclining therein face to face. 16 Immortal youths will serve them 17 with goblets, and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 which will not cause them any intoxication or illness. 19 And with fruit from that which they choose. 20 And meat of birds that they may wish. 21 and fair maidens with large, lustrous eyes 22 Like pearls within their shells, 23 The reward for what they did. 24 Not frivolity will they hear therein, nor any taint of ill,- 25 but only the tiding of inner soundness and peace. 26 The Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 27 Among thorn-less lote-trees. 28 And banana-trees (with fruits), one above another. 29 and shade extended, 30 and outpoured waters, 31 and fruit abounding, 32 unfailing, unforbidden, 33 on raised couches. 34 We have formed them in a distinctive fashion, 35 having resurrected them as virgins, 36 full of love, well-matched 37 for those on the Right, 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
