Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By oath of those that are sent, one after the other. (The verses of the Holy Qur’an or the angels or the winds). 1 storming tempestuously 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 And those [angels] who deliver a message 5 [promising] freedom from blame or [offering] a warning! 6 Indeed what you are promised, will surely befall. 7 So when the stars are obliterated 8 And when the sky is split apart. 9 and when the mountains are scattered like dust, 10 and the appointed time to bring the Messengers together arrives, (then shall the promised event come to pass). 11 To what day is the doom fixed? 12 To the day of decision. 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 and then follow them with the later folk? 17 Thus do We deal with the sinful ones. 18 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 19 Did We not create you from an abject fluid? 20 Then We lodged you in a secure place (the womb) 21 till a known term decreed? 22 Thus We arranged. How excellent is Our arranging! 23 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 24 Did We not make the earth a receptacle, 25 Of the living and the dead? 26 And placed in it lofty and broad stablisers, and gave you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 28 Proceed to that which you denied. 29 Depart into the shadow of three masses, 30 which neither gives shade nor protects one from the flames. 31 that shoots sparks like dry faggots, 32 Seeming like yellow camels. 33 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not speak (during some part of it), 35 Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse. 36 On that day, woe would be those who have rejected God's revelations! 37 That will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)! 38 If you now have any conspiracy, carry it out on Me. 39 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 40
