The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the night when it covers 1 And by the day as it appears in brightness; 2 And [by] He who created the male and female, 3 Lo! your effort is dispersed (toward divers ends). 4 As for he who gives and fears Allah 5 for those who spend for the cause of God, 6 Unto him therefore We shall indeed make easy the path to ease. 7 And as for him who stinteth and is heedless, 8 and denied the Truth of goodness: 9 So We will very soon provide him hardship. 10 When he falls (into Hell), his wealth will not help him. 11 Indeed guiding is upon Us. 12 And most surely Ours is the hereafter and the former. 13 Therefor have I warned you of the flaming Fire 14 none shall enter it but the most wicked, 15 Who denied (the truth) and turned away. 16 For, distant from it shall remain he who is truly conscious of God: 17 He who gives his wealth to be purified, 18 They do not expect any reward 19 seeking only the Face of his Lord, the Most High, 20 And indeed, soon he will be very pleased. 21
Almighty God's Truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
