Pray, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, if You should bring the scourge of which they had been warned in my presence, 93 do not, O my Sustainer, let me be one of those evildoing folk!" 94 Indeed, We are able to show you that which We promised them. 95 (O Muhammad)! Repel evil in the best manner. We are well aware of all that they say about you. 96 And say thou: my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee against the whisperings of the satans. 97 O my Lord, I seek refuge in You lest they attend me' 98 lt ceaseth not until when death cometh to one of them, and he saith: my Lord! send me back. 99 "So that I may do good in that which I have left behind!" No! It is but a word that he speaks, and behind them is Barzakh (a barrier) until the Day when they will be resurrected. 100 So when the Horn is blown, no relationship will there be among them that Day, nor will they ask about one another. 101 Then those whose balance (of good deeds) is heavy,- they will attain salvation: 102 But those whose scales are light - those are the ones who have lost their souls, [being] in Hell, abiding eternally. 103 The Fire shall scorch their faces, exposing their jaws. 104 'What, were My signs not recited to you, and you cried them lies?' 105 They will answer, "Lord, misfortune overcame us and we became an erring people. 106 Our Lord! Take us out of this. Then if we revert (to evil-doing) we shall indeed be wrongdoers." 107 He will say, "Remain despised therein and do not speak to Me. 108 Verily there was a party of My bondmen who said: our Lord! we have believed, wherefore forgive us and have mercy upon us, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones! 109 "You mocked and laughed at them until you forgot all about Me. 110 I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, and it is they who have triumphed." 111 Then Allah will ask them: "For how many years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will say: "A day or less than a day. Ask the enumerators of numbers." 113 [Whereupon] He will say: "You have spent there but a short while: had you but known [how short it was to be]! 114 "Did you think that We had created you in play (without any purpose), and that you would not be brought back to Us?" 115 Now Allah be Exalted, the True King! There is no Allah save Him, the Lord of the Throne of Grace. 116 And whosoever calls upon another god with God, whereof he has no proof, his reckoning is with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not prosper. 117 Say, "Lord, forgive us and have mercy. You are the best of those who show mercy." 118
