۞ O men! It is you who stand in need of God -- God is self-sufficient, and praiseworthy -- 15 If He will, He can be rid of you and bring (instead of you) some new creation. 16 that is surely no great matter for God. 17 No burden-bearer shall bear another's burden, and if some over-laden soul should call out for someone else to carry his load, not the least portion of it will be borne for him, even though he were a near relative. You can only warn those who fear their Lord in the unseen, and pray regularly. Anyone who purifies himself will benefit greatly from doing so. To God all shall return. 18 The blind man is not equal with the seer; 19 Nor the darkness and the light, 20 And neither are the shadow and the hot sunshine! 21 Neither are the living and the dead alike. Surely Allah makes whom He pleases hear, and you cannot make those hear who are in the graves. 22 Thou art naught but a warner. 23 Surely We have sent you with the truth as a bearer of good news and a warner; and there is not a people but a warner has gone among them. 24 If they reject you, (know that) others who lived before them had also rejected their Messengers, Messengers who had brought them miracles, scriptures, and the enlightening Book 25 Then I took hold of those who disbelieved. So how terrible was My disapproval! 26
