Al-Najm 3 of 3
Hast thou considered him who turns his back 33 And gives a little and (then) withholds. 34 Has he knowledge of the unseen, so that he sees? 35 Has he not been informed of what is in the Scrolls of Moses, 36 And Abraham who paid his debt: 37 that no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; 38 and that everyone shall have in his account only that which he worked for, 39 and that (the result of) his striving shall soon be seen, 40 Then he will be recompensed with a full and the best recompense. 41 and that the final end is unto thy Lord, 42 that it is He who causes to laugh and causes to weep. 43 And that He it is Who causes death and gives life- 44 That He created pairs, male and female, 45 From the small seed when it is adapted 46 And that only upon Him is the next revival? 47 and that it is He who gives riches and causes to hoard, 48 And that He only is the Lord of the star Sirius? 49 That it was He who destroyed the 'Ad of old, 50 Thamud, 51 and before them the people of Noah who were even more unjust and insolent; 52 just as He thrust into perdition those cities that were overthrown 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 About which of the bounties of your Lord can they persistently dispute? 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 The Approaching Day has approached. 57 None but God can avert it. 58 Does this statement seem strange to them 59 and do you laugh, and do you not weep, 60 And ye are behaving proudly. 61 So make obeisance to Allah and serve (Him). ۩ 62

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
