The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ WHEN WHAT IS to happen comes to pass -- 1 Then none will be able to deny its occurrence. 2 It will abase some and exalt others. 3 when the earth shall be rocked 4 and the mountains crumbled 5 So that they become dust seattered. 6 You shall then become three groups. 7 Then (there will be) the Companions of the Right Hand;- What will be the Companions of the Right Hand? 8 And those on the left – how (wretched) are those on the left! 9 The third to the fore shall be the foremost. 10 It is they who are the close ones. 11 They are in Gardens of peace. 12 a large group of the early believers, 13 and a few from later times. 14 [They will be seated] on gold-encrusted thrones of happiness, 15 Reclining thereon facing each other. 16 There will circulate among them young boys made eternal 17 With bowls and ewers and a cup from a pure spring 18 Whereby there shall be neither headiness nor will they be inebriated. 19 and with fruit of any kind that they may choose, 20 Bird meats that they relish, 21 And companions with big beautiful eyes 22 as the likeness of hidden pearls, 23 a recompense for all that they did. 24 Therein they hear no vain or sinful discourse. 25 only the words of peace and tranquillity. 26 The companions of the right - what are the companions of the right? 27 (They will be) among thornless lote-trees, 28 and serried acacias, 29 and shade extended, 30 By water flowing constantly, 31 And fruit in plenty 32 never-failing and never out of reach. 33 And carpets raised. 34 We have created maidens perfectly 35 And made them virgin - pure (and undefiled), - 36 intensely loving and of matching age. 37 For those of the right hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
