The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
