If they (still) call you a liar, tell them: "For me my actions, for you yours. You are not answerable for my deeds, nor I for what you do." 41 And of them are some who hearken unto thee, so canst thou make the deaf hear, even though they apprehend not? 42 And of them is he who looketh toward thee. But canst thou guide the blind even though they see not? 43 Lo! Allah wrongeth not mankind in aught; but mankind wrong themselves. 44 And on the Day when He shall gather (resurrect) them together, (it will be) as if they had not stayed (in the life of this world and graves, etc.) but an hour of a day. They will recognise each other. Ruined indeed will be those who denied the meeting with Allah, and were not guided. 45 Whether We show thee a part of that We promise them, or We call thee unto Us, to Us they shall return; then God is witness of the things they do 46 And in every nation was a Noble Messenger (from Allah); so when their Noble Messenger came to them, they were judged with fairness, and they were not wronged. 47 And they say, “When will this promise come, if you are truthful?” 48 Say: I have no power to hurt or benefit myself, save that which Allah willeth. For every nation there is an appointed time. When their time cometh, then they cannot put it off an hour, nor hasten (it). 49 Tell them: 'Did you consider (what you would do) were His chastisement to fall upon you suddenly by night or by day? So why are the culprits seeking to hasten its coming? 50 Then is it that when it has [actually] occurred you will believe in it? Now? And you were [once] for it impatient 51 Then it shall be said to those who were unjust: Taste abiding chastisement; you are not requited except for what you earned. 52 They ask you if what you say is true? Tell them: 'Yes, by my Lord, this is altogether true, and you have no power to prevent the chastisement from befalling.' 53
