The Poets (Alshu'araa')

227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 Those are the signs of the Manifest Book. 2 Perhaps you will kill yourself with grief because they do not believe. 3 If We will, We could send down to them from the heaven a sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 Never does a new reminder come to them from Ar-Rahman but they turn away from it. 5 They have called (our revelation) lies. They will soon learn the consequences of what they mocked. 6 Have they not seen the earth in which We have made gracious plants grow? 7 Verily, in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 8 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
