And this (Qur'an) is a revelation from the Lord of all the worlds, 192 The Trustworthy Spirit brought it down. (Angel Jibreel peace be upon him.) 193 Upon your heart, [O Muhammad] - that you may be of the warners - 194 in a clear, Arabic tongue. 195 Surely, it is foretold in the ancient scriptures. 196 Was it not a sign for them, that it is known to the learned of the Children of Israel? 197 If We had revealed it to a nonArab, 198 In order that he read it to them, even then they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus do We make it traverse the hearts of the guilty. 200 They will not believe in it until they see the painful punishment. 201 And it shall come to them all of a sudden, while they shall not perceive; 202 Then they will say: are we to be respited? 203 Would they (now) hasten on Our doom? 204 Then have you considered if We gave them enjoyment for years 205 And then there came to them that which they were promised? 206 So of what benefit will be the comforts that they were using? 207 We never destroyed any town without first sending to them warning and guidance. 208 for a reminder, and We never harmed. 209 And the Shaitans have not come down with it. 210 for, neither does it suit their ends, nor is it in their power [to impart it to man]: 211 Indeed they are debarred from even hearing it. 212 So do not call on any deity besides God, lest you incur His punishment. 213 And warn thy tribe of near kindred, 214 Lower thy wing to those who follow thee, being believers; 215 And if they disobey you, then say, "Indeed, I am disassociated from what you are doing." 216 And put your trust in Him Who is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate, 217 who sees thee when thou standest 218 or move during your prostration with the worshippers. 219 Indeed only He is the All Hearing, the All Knowing. 220 Shall I tell you upon whom the devils descend? 221 They descend upon all sinful self-deceivers 222 They incline their ears, and most of them are liars. 223 As for the poets, the erring follow them, 224 Art thou not aware that they roam confusedly through all the valleys [of words and thoughts,] 225 And they say what they do not do, 226 Except those who believe, and do good works and remember Allah in abundance and became victorious after they had been wronged. The wrongdoers will surely know which turn they will be returning to (Hell). 227
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
