Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By Qaf and the glorious Quran, (you are the Messenger of God). 1 Indeed, they are astonished that a warner should have come to them from among themselves. So these deniers of the truth say, "This is indeed a strange thing, 2 Shall we be brought back when we are dead and have become dust? That is a return remote! 3 We already know how much of them the earth takes away: With Us is a record guarding (the full account). 4 In fact they denied the Truth when it came to them, so they are now in a dilemma. 5 Have they not then observed the sky above them, how We have constructed it and beautified it, and how there are no rifts therein? 6 We spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains, and We cause every delightful thing to grow in it 7 To give sight and as a reminder to every servant who turns frequently (to Allah). 8 And We send down blessed water (rain) from the sky, then We produce therewith gardens and grain (every kind of harvests) that are reaped. 9 And tall date-palms laden with clusters ranged. 10 As a provision for men, and enlivened a region that was dead. Even thus will be the life after death. 11 Before them, the people of Noah and the people of Rass denied this truth; and so did the people of Thamud. 12 And the tribe of A’ad, and Firaun, and the fellowmen of Lut. 13 And the companions of the thicket and the people of Tubba'. All denied the messengers, so My threat was justly fulfilled. 14 Did We, then, become worn out by the first creation? Not at all; but they are in doubt about a fresh creation. 15
