When God said: "O Jesus, I will take you to Myself and exalt you, and rid you of the infidels, and hold those who follow you above those who disbelieve till the Day of Resurrection. You have then to come back to Me when I will judge between you in what you were at variance." 55 As for the unbelievers, I will chastise them with a terrible chastisement in this world and the next; they shall have no helpers.' 56 But those who believe and do righteous deeds, He will reward them in full. Allah does not love the unjust.' 57 These are some verses that We recite to you, and advice full of wisdom. 58 To God the case of Jesus is as that of Adam whom He created from the earth and then said, "Exist," and Adam came into existence. 59 The truth is from your Lord, therefore, do not be among the doubters. 60 And if anyone should argue with you about this [truth] after the knowledge you have received, say to them, "Come! Let us gather our sons and your sons, our women and your women, and ourselves and yourselves; and then let us pray earnestly and invoke the curse of God upon the liars. 61 This is the true story. There is no God but Allah, and assuredly Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise. 62 But if they turn away, then indeed - Allah is Knowing of the corrupters. 63
