The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
(I swear) by the snorting chargers (of the warriors), whose hoofs strike against the rocks 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
