Also, remember Our worshiper Job. He called out to his Lord, (saying): 'satan has afflicted me with harm and pain' 41 (And it was said unto him): Strike the ground with thy foot. This (spring) is a cool bath and a refreshing drink. 42 And We gave him (back) his family, and along with them the like thereof, as a Mercy from Us, and a Reminder for those who understand. 43 [And finally We told him:] "Now take in thy hand a small bunch of grass, and strike therewith, and thou wilt not break thine oath!" for, verily, We found him full of patience in adversity: how excellent a servant [of Ours,] who, behold, would always turn unto Us! 44 And remember Our slaves, Ibrahim (Abraham), Ishaque (Isaac), and Ya'qub (Jacob), (all) owners of strength (in worshipping Us) and (also) of religious understanding. 45 We gave them this pure distinction because of their continual remembrance of the Day of Judgment. 46 and, in Our sight they were indeed among the select, the truly good! 47 Also, remember our worshipers Ishmael, Elisha, and ThulKifl, they are among the good. 48 This was a remembrance. An excellent retreat awaits the God-fearing 49 Gardens of perpetual residence, whose doors will be opened to them. 50 They will be resting therein and will be able to ask for many kinds of fruit and drink. 51 ۞ and wherein there shall be with them well-matched, bashful mates. 52 'This is what you are promised on the Day of Recompense, 53 Truly such will be Our Bounty (to you); it will never fail;- 54 This (shall be so); and most surely there is an evil resort for the inordinate ones; 55 They shall roast in (the Fire) of Gehenna, an evil cradling. 56 Here is a boiling and an ice-cold draught, so let them taste it, 57 And other torments, like thereof, conjoined. 58 [Its inhabitants will say], "This is a company bursting in with you. No welcome for them. Indeed, they will burn in the Fire." 59 The followers will say, “In fact, for you! May you not get open space! It is you who brought this calamity upon us!” So what a wretched destination. 60 adding, "Our Lord, give double punishment to those who brought this upon us." 61 They will say to one another: “But why do we not see those whom we considered him among the wicked? 62 [and] whom we made the target of our derision? Or are they here, and our eyes have missed them?" 63 Such, behold, will in truth be the [confusion and] mutual wrangling of the people of the fire! 64
