The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
