۞ People, it is you who are in need of Allah. He is the Rich, the Praised. 15 If He wills, He can do away with you and bring forth a new creation. 16 that is surely no great matter for God. 17 No laden soul shall bear another's load. If one is heavy burdened and calls for his load to be carried, nothing of it will be carried, not even if he is a close relative. You warn only those who fear their Lord in the Unseen, and establish the prayer. He who purifies himself, purifies himself for the good of his own soul. To Allah is the arrival. 18 Not equal are the blind and the seeing man, 19 Nor is darkness (tantamount to) light; 20 nor the [cooling] shade and the scorching heat: 21 nor are the living and the dead. God causes whom He will to hear Him, but you cannot make those who are in their graves hear you. 22 You are but a warner, 23 And O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), We have indeed sent you with the Truth, giving glad tidings and heralding warnings; and there was a Herald of Warning in every group. 24 And if they give thee the lie - even so gave the lie to the truth [many of] those who lived before their time, [when] there came unto them their apostles with all evidence of the truth, and with books of divine wisdom, and with light-giving revelation; 25 Then I seized those who disbelieved, and how was My rejection! 26
