We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
