He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ The Prophet frowned and turned away 1 Because there came to him the blind man (interrupting). 2 But what could tell thee but that perchance he might grow (in spiritual understanding)?- 3 Or that he might receive admonition, and the teaching might profit him? 4 As for him who regardeth himself self-sufficient 5 Unto him thou payest regard. 6 though you are not to be blamed if he would not purify himself -- 7 As for him who comes to you striving (after goodness), 8 and fears (Allah), 9 From him thou art distracted. 10 Not this way this is the advice. 11 So whoever wills may remember it. 12 upon pages high-honoured, 13 exalted, purified, 14 Written by the hands of emissaries. 15 Noble and righteous. 16 Woe to man! How ungrateful he is! 17 From what did He create him? 18 Of a drop of seed. He created him and formed him according to a measure. 19 then the way eased for him, 20 and in the end He causes him to die and brings him to the grave; 21 Then when He wills, He will resurrect him. 22 Not one he has not yet completed what he was commanded. 23 Then let man look at his food, (and how We provide it): 24 It is We Who pour forth water, pouring, 25 And We split the earth in fragments, 26 and thereupon We cause grain to grow out of it, 27 And grapes and vegetables 28 and olive trees and date palms 29 and gardens dense with foliage, 30 And fruits and grasses: 31 for you and for your herds to delight in. 32 Then, when there comes As-Sakhkhah (the Day of Resurrection's second blowing of Trumpet), 33 On that day man will run away from his brother. 34 mother, father, 35 And from his wife and his children. 36 on that Day every man among them will have enough concern of his own -- 37 Many a face will be glittering on that day. 38 Laughing and full of joy, 39 And other faces that Day will be dust-stained, 40 o'erspread with darkness -- 41 Those, they are the unbelievers, the immoral. 42
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
