The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta, Seen, Meem. 1 These are revelations of the Scripture that maketh plain. 2 Perhaps you consume yourself that they are not believers. 3 We could send down from the heavens a sign to them if We pleased, before which their heads would remain bowed. 4 Whenever there comes to them any fresh warning from the Merciful, they always turn their backs on it: 5 So they have indeed denied (the truth - this Quran), then the news of what they mocked at, will come to them. 6 Do they not observe the earth, how much of every good kind We cause to grow therein? 7 Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers. 8 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 9
