We built the universe with Our might, giving it its vast expanse. 47 And the earth have We laid out, how gracious is the Spreader (thereof)! 48 And We created all things in pairs, so that you may ponder. 49 Flee therefore unto Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 50 Do not set up another god with God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 51 Likewise, no Messenger came to those before them, but they said: "A sorcerer or a madman!" 52 Have they bequeathed it unto each other! Nay! they are a people contumacious. 53 So leave them, [O Muhammad], for you are not to be blamed. 54 And continue to remind, for surely the reminder profits the believers. 55 I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve Me. 56 I seek no sustenance from them, nor do I want them to feed Me -- 57 Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong. 58 The unjust will bear a burden like that of their unjust predecessors. Let them not make Me bring immediate punishment upon them. 59 woe, then, to those who are bent on denying the truth, when the Day arrives which they have been promised. 60
