HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 So it is he, who pushes away the orphan, 2 and who does not urge the feeding of the poor? 3 Ah, woe unto worshippers 4 but whose hearts are not in their prayer. 5 Who dissimulate 6 and refuse to help the needy. 7
