Surely Ibrahim was an exemplar, obedient to Allah, upright, and he was not of the polytheists. 120 he was thankful for His blessings. God chose him and guided him to a straight path. 121 And We gave him in this world good, and in the world to come he shall be among the righteous. 122 And then We sent you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) the divine revelation that, “Follow the religion of Ibrahim, who was free from all falsehood; and was not a polytheist.” 123 The Sabbath was ordained only for those who differed about it, and most surely your Lord will judge between them on the resurrection day concerning that about which they differed. 124 Call to the Path of your Lord with wisdom and fine admonition. Dispute with them in the best manner. Your Lord is well aware of those who have gone astray from His Path and He is well aware of those who are guided. 125 If you have to retaliate, do so to the extent you have been injured; but if you forbear it is best for those who bear with fortitude. 126 And bear with patience, (O Muhammad) - and your patience is only because of the help of Allah - and do not grieve over them, nor feel distressed by their evil plans. 127 Lo! Allah is with those who keep their duty unto Him and those who are doers of good. 128
