Whosoever worketh righteous works, and he is a believer, there shall be no denial of his endeavour; and We are for him the Writers. 94 Hence, it has been unfailingly true of any community whom We have ever destroyed that they [were people who] would never turn back [from their sinful ways] 95 until Gog and Magog are let loose, and begin swooping from every mound, 96 and the time for the fulfilment of the true promise of Allah draws near, whereupon the eyes of those who disbelieved will stare in fear, and they will say: "Woe to us, we were indeed heedless of this; nay, we were wrongdoers." 97 Surely you and what you worship besides Allah are the firewood of hell; to it you shall come. 98 Had the idols been true lords, they would not have gone to hell. "All of you will live therein forever". 99 For them therein is heavy sighing, and they therein will not hear. 100 Verily those for whom the good has preceded from Us, they will be removed far therefrom (Hell) [e.g. 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary); 'Uzair (Ezra), etc.]. 101 they shall be, kept far from it neither shall they hear any whisper of it, and they shall dwell forever in that their souls desired; 102 The Supreme Horror will not grieve them, and the angels will welcome them, (saying): This is your Day which ye were promised; 103 The day when We shall roll up the heavens as the recording angel rolls up the register of deeds; We shall make him similar to Our making him the first time; this is a promise upon Us; We certainly have to do it. 104 And indeed We have written in Zabur (Psalms) [i.e. all the revealed Holy Books the Taurat (Torah), the Injeel (Gospel), the Quran] after (We have already written in) Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz (the Book, that is in the heaven with Allah), that My righteous slaves shall inherit the land (i.e. the land of Paradise). 105 herein, behold, there is a message for people who [truly] worship God. 106 (Muhammad), We have sent you for no other reason but to be a mercy for mankind. 107 Say: It is only inspired in me that your Allah is One Allah. Will ye then surrender (unto Him)? 108 But if they turn back, Say: "I have proclaimed the Message to you all alike and in truth; but I know not whether that which ye are promised is near or far. 109 Lo! He knoweth that which is said openly, and that which ye conceal. 110 And I know not but that this may be a trial for you, and enjoyment for a while. 111 The Messenger said: "My Lord! Judge with truth. Our Compassionate Lord alone is our support against your (blasphemous) utterances." 112
