And indeed this Qur'an has been sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 192 Which the trustworthy Ruh [Jibrael (Gabriel)] has brought down; 193 to your heart, so that you will warn (the people of the dangers of disobeying God). 194 In plain Arabic language. 195 This is indicated in the Books of earlier people. 196 Was it not a sign for them, that it is known to the learned of the Children of Israel? 197 Had We revealed it to a man of obscure tongue 198 And he had recited it unto them, they would not have believed in it. 199 In this wise have We made way for it into the hearts of the culprits. 200 They will not believe in it until they clearly see the grievous chastisement. 201 And it will come to them suddenly while they perceive [it] not. 202 Then they will exclaim, "Could we have some respite?" 203 Do they, then, [really] wish that Our chastisement be hastened on? 204 Have you then considered if We let them enjoy themselves for years, 205 And afterwards comes to them that (punishment) which they had been promised! 206 Of what avail shall their enjoyment be to them? 207 And withal, never have We destroyed any community unless it had been warned 208 By way of reminder, and We have never been unjust. 209 The satans did not bring down this (Clear Book), 210 neither are they worthy of it, nor are they capable of it, 211 Indeed they have been banished from the place of hearing. 212 So do not invoke with Allah another deity and [thus] be among the punished. 213 Warn your close relatives 214 And lower thou thy wing unto those who follow thee as believers. 215 And if they disobey you, then say, "Indeed, I am disassociated from what you are doing." 216 And rely upon the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 217 Who sees you (O Muhammad SAW) when you stand up (alone at night for Tahajjud prayers). 218 and sees your movements among those who prostrate themselves: 219 for, verily, He alone is all-hearing, all-knowing! 220 O people, shall I tell you on whom it is that satans descend? 221 They descend on every forgerer steeped in sin, 222 They listen eagerly, but most of them are liars. 223 And as for the poets -- it is the misled who follow them. 224 Have you not seen them wandering and bewildered in every valley 225 And that they say that which they do not? 226 Not so the true believers who do good works and remember God with fervour and defend themselves only after they are wronged. The wrongdoers will soon know how evil a turn their affairs will take. 227
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
