O Children of Israel! Remember My favour wherewith I favoured you, and fulfil your (part of the) covenant, I shall fulfil My (part of the) covenant, and fear Me. 40 And believe in that I have sent down, confirming that which is with you, and be not the first to disbelieve in it. And sell not My signs for a little price; and fear you Me. 41 Confound not truth with falsehood, nor knowingly conceal the truth. 42 And establish prayer, and give the poor-rate, and bow down with those who bow down. 43 ۞ What! do you enjoin men to be good and neglect your own souls while you read the Book; have you then no sense? 44 Nay, seek (Allah's) help with patient perseverance and prayer: It is indeed hard, except to those who bring a lowly spirit,- 45 Who know that they will have to meet their Lord, and that unto Him they are returning. 46
