We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
