The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 The food of sinners. 44 like molten copper, bubbling in the belly 45 like the boiling of burning despair. 46 (It will be said) "Seize him and drag him into the midst of blazing Fire, 47 then pour boiling water over his head as chastisement. 48 "Taste thou (this)! Truly wast thou mighty, full of honour! 49 This is that concerning which you were doubting.' 50 Indeed the pious are in a place of peace. 51 Among Gardens and Springs; 52 wearing [garments] of silk and brocade, facing one another [in love]. 53 Thus shall it be: and We shall espouse them to fair, wide-eyed maidens. 54 therein calling for every fruit, secure. 55 There they shall not taste death, except the first death, and He will shield them from the punishment of Hell, 56 as a favour from your Lord. That is the great triumph. 57 So have We made it easy in your tongue that they may be mindful. 58 So wait thou and watch; for they (too) are waiting. 59
