Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

It is We Who have set out the zodiacal signs in the heavens, and made them fair-seeming to (all) beholders; 16 And We have protected it from every devil expelled [from the mercy of Allah] 17 Except one who steals a hearing and is pursued by a clear burning flame. 18 We have spread out the earth, and set upon it firm mountains and caused everything to grow in due proportion. 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 With Us is the source of everything and We do not send it down except in a known quantity. 21 And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores. 22 It is We who give life, and make to die, and it is We who are the inheritors. 23 And well do We know [the hearts and deeds of all human beings - both] those who lived before you and those who will come after you; 24 And verily thy Lord! He will gather them, and verily He is Wise, Knowing. 25
