Now surely, unto Pharaoh's folk [too] came such warnings; 41 (They) belied all Our Signs, so We seized them with a Seizure of the All-Mighty, All-Capable to carry out what he Will (Omnipotent). 42 Are the unbelievers among you any better than they? Or is there immunity for you in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We acting together can defend ourselves"? 44 The group will soon be routed, and will turn their backs to flee. 45 In fact their promise is upon the Last Day – and the Last Day is very severe and very bitter! 46 Truly those in sin are the ones straying in mind, and mad. 47 On the day when they are dragged into the Fire upon their faces (it is said unto them): Feel the touch of hell. 48 Verily everything! We have created it by a measure. 49 and Our ordaining [a thing and its coming into being] is but one [act,] like the twinkling of an eye. 50 And indeed, We have destroyed your likes, then is there any that will remember (or receive admonition)? 51 All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): 52 All things small or great have been written down. 53 The God-conscious will find themselves in gardens and rivers, 54 in a sure abode, in the presence of a King Omnipotent. 55
