The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta, Seen, Meem. 1 These are revelations of the Scripture that maketh plain. 2 Belike thou shalt kill thyself with grief because they become not believers. 3 If We will, We can send down on them from the sky a portent so that their necks would remain bowed before it. 4 But there comes not to them a newly-revealed Message from (Allah) Most Gracious, but they turn away therefrom. 5 Surely they have done with denying; soon will come to them the news of what they were laughing at. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how much of every fruitful kind We make to grow therein? 7 In this, behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 8 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 9
