The unbelievers say, 'What, when we are dust, and our fathers, shall we indeed be brought forth? 67 Indeed we and our fathers had been promised this before. It is nothing but the earlier people's lore." 68 Say, "Travel through the land and see how terrible was the end of the criminal ones". 69 Do not sorrow for them, nor be thou straitened for what they devise. 70 And they (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) say: "When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if you are truthful?" 71 Say, "It may be that a part of what you would hasten on is close behind you." 72 And verily thine Lord is full of grace for mankind, but most of them give not thanks. 73 And verily thine Lord knoweth whatsoever their breasts conceal and whatsoever they make known. 74 There is nothing that is hidden - be it in the heaven or the earth - but is recorded in a Clear Book. 75 This Quran explains to the children of Israel much of what they differ over, 76 And it certainly is a Guide and a Mercy to those who believe. 77 Your Lord will judge among them according to His own decree. He is Majestic and All-Knowing. 78 So rely upon Allah; indeed, you are upon the clear truth. 79 Indeed the dead* do not listen to your call nor do the deaf* listen to your call, when they flee turning back. (The dead and deaf implies the disbelievers.) 80 Nor do you guide the blind out of their error, nor do you make any to hear, except those who believe in Our verses and are Muslims. 81 ۞ And when the time for the fulfilment of Our Word against them will come, We shall bring forth for them a beast from the earth who will speak to them because people did not believe in Our Signs. 82
