The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
