The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, 1 And the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" - 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 for your Lord will have revealed to it. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, 7 And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
