Man is prone to say: "Shall I be raised to life after I die?" 66 But does not man call to mind that We created him before out of nothing? 67 Now, by thy Lord, We shall surely muster them, and the Satans, then We shall parade them about Gehenna hobbling on their knees. 68 Thereafter, We shall surely draw aside, from each sect, whichever of them against the Compassionate were most in excess. 69 Then surely it is We who are the Best Knower of these worthiest of being therein roasted. 70 and there is not one of you but shall pass through it: a decree from your Lord which must be fulfilled. 71 And once again: We shall save [from hell] those who have been conscious of Us; but We shall leave in it the evildoers, on their knees. 72 And when Our clear verses are recited to them, the disbelievers say to the Muslims, “Which group has a better home, and a better alliance?” 73 But how many (countless) generations before them have we destroyed, who were even better in equipment and in glitter to the eye? 74 Say: As for him who is in error, the Beneficent will verily prolong his span of life until, when they behold that which they were promised, whether it be punishment (in the world), or the Hour (of doom), they will know who is worse in position and who is weaker as an army. 75 (On the contrary), Allah increases in guidance those who follow the Right Way. Lasting acts of righteousness are better in the sight of your Lord as reward and conducive to a better end. 76 Hast thou seen him who disbelieveth in Our revelations and saith: Assuredly I shall be given wealth and children? 77 What, has he observed the Unseen, or taken a covenant with the All-merciful? 78 By no means! We shall write down all what he says; and We shall greatly prolong his chastisement, 79 And We shall inherit from him that whereof he spake, and he shall come to us alone. 80 They have taken other gods apart from God that they might be a strength to them. 81 Instead, they shall reject their worship, and become adversaries against them. 82
