T H (Taa Haa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ TA HA. 1 We have not sent down the Qur'an to you that you should be burdened, 2 Nay, it is a reminder to him who fears: 3 It is a revelation from the Creator of the earth and the high heavens. 4 The ever-merciful, established on the throne (of authority). 5 Whatever is in the heavens and the earth and in between them, belongs to Him, as whatever lies under the earth. 6 And if you utter the saying aloud, then surely He knows the secret, and what is yet more hidden. 7 Allah-- there is no god but He; His are the very best names. 8 And did the news of Moosa reach you? 9 When he saw the fire, he said to his family, "Wait here for I can see a fire. Perhaps I shall bring you a burning torch or find a way to some fire". 10 When he came to it, a voice cried, 'Moses, 11 I am your Lord! Take off your sandals, for you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa. 12 I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed to you. 13 "Verily, I am Allah: There is no god but I: So serve thou Me (only), and establish regular prayer for celebrating My praise. 14 “The Last Day will surely come – it was close that I hide it from all – in order that every soul may get the reward of its effort.” (He revealed it to His Prophets, so that people may fear and get ready. The exact time is not revealed to the people.) 15 “Therefore never let one, who does not accept faith in it and follows his own desires, prevent you from accepting this, so then you become ruined.” 16 And what is this in your right hand, O Musa! 17 "It's my staff," he answered; "I lean on it, and fell leaves for my goats with it, and I have other uses for it." 18 He said, “Put it down, O Moosa! 19 So he cast it down, and thereupon it turned into a sliding serpent. 20 Allah said: take hold of it, and fear not; We shall restore it to its former state. 21 And face what is to come with patience, your hand will not be tarnished with blame: Another sign 22 “In order that We may show you Our great signs.” 23 Go to Pharaoh; he has waxed insolent.' 24
