It is He who gave you ears, eyes and hearts, yet how seldom you are grateful! 78 And He it is Who hath sown you broadcast in the earth, and unto Him ye will be gathered. 79 And He it is who grants life and deals death; and to Him is due the alternation of night and day. Will you not, then, use your reason? 80 Nay, but they say the like of what their predecessors of yore had said. 81 They say, "When we die and become dust and bones, shall we then be raised up again? 82 Certainly we are promised this, and (so were) our fathers aforetime; this is naught but stories of those of old. 83 Say: Unto Whom (belongeth) the earth and whosoever is therein, if ye have knowledge? 84 They will say: Unto Allah. Say: Will ye not then remember? 85 Say thou: who is Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the mighty throne? 86 They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: Will ye not then keep duty (unto Him)? 87 Ask them, "If you have any knowledge, in whose hands is the ownership of all things? Who is the one who gives protection and yet He Himself is never protected?" 88 They will surely say: God's. Say thou: how then are ye turned away? 89 Aye! We have brought them the truth and verily they are the liars. 90 God has not begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Had this been so, each god would have taken away what he had created with him, and some would have risen over the others. God is much too glorious for what they attribute (to Him)! 91 knowing all that is beyond the reach of a created being's perception as well as all that can be witnessed by a creature's senses or mind and hence, sublimely exalted is He above anything to which they may ascribe a share in His divinity! 92
