Pray, "Lord, if you would show me that [the punishment] of which they have been warned, 93 exclude me from the unjust people". 94 Assuredly, We are able to show thee that We promise them. 95 Repel evil with the best deeds; We well know the matters that they fabricate. 96 And say: 'O my Lord, I take refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Satans, 97 O my Lord, I seek refuge in You lest they attend me' 98 Until, when death comes to one* of them, he says, “O my Lord, send me back!” (The disbelievers) 99 Haply I may do good in that which I have left. By no means! it is a (mere) word that he speaks; and before them is a barrier until the day they are raised. 100 And when the Horn is blown, on that Day their ties of kindred shall be no more, nor will they ask each other. 101 Then he whose scales are heavy -- they are the prosperers, 102 But those whose balance is light, will be those who have lost their souls, in Hell will they abide. 103 The Fire will sear their faces, and they therein will have taut smiles. 104 “Were not My verses recited to you, so you used to deny them?” 105 They shall say: O our Lord! our adversity overcame us and we were an erring people: 106 Get us out of this, O Lord. If we transgress we will surely be sinful." 107 Allah will say: "Away from Me; stay where you are and do not address Me. 108 Indeed, there was a party of My servants who said, 'Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful.' 109 "You mocked and laughed at them until you forgot all about Me. 110 [But,] behold, today I have rewarded them for their patience in adversity: verily, it is they, they who have achieved a triumph!" 111 He will say: How long tarried ye in the earth, counting by years? 112 They will say, “We stayed a day or part of a day, so ask those who keep count.” 113 He will say: 'You have tarried a little, did you know? 114 "Do you imagine that We created you without any purpose and that you would not be brought back to Us?" 115 God is the most exalted King and the Supreme Truth. He is the only God and the Lord of the Gracious Throne. 116 He who crieth unto any other god along with Allah hath no proof thereof. His reckoning is only with his Lord. Lo! disbelievers will not be successful. 117 Hence, [O believer,] say: "O my Sustainer! Grant [me] forgiveness and bestow Thy mercy [upon me]: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!" 118
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
