The dwellers of the forest also rejected the Messengers. 176 When Shuaib said to all of them, “Do you not fear?” 177 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust. 178 so fear God, and obey me. 179 And I ask of you no wage for it; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. 180 ۞ Fill up the measure, and be not cheaters, 181 And weigh (things) with a right balance, 182 and diminish not the goods of the people, and do not mischief in the earth, working corruption. 183 Fear Him who created you, and the generations of the ancients.' 184 They replied: 'You are surely one of those bewitched. 185 You are but a human like ourselves, we think that you are one of the liars. 186 But in case you are speaking the truth, then make a segment of the sky to fall upon us." 187 He said, 'My Lord knows very well what you are doing.' 188 And they denied him, so the punishment of the day of the black cloud seized them. Indeed, it was the punishment of a terrible day. 189 Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers. 190 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 191
