If We grant long life to any, We cause him to be reversed in nature: Will they not then understand? 68 We have not taught (Muhammad) to versify, nor is it worthy of him. This is nothing but a reminder and illuminating discourse, 69 that he may warn him who is alive and establish an argument against those that deny the Truth. 70 Have they not seen how We have created for them the cattle they master with Our Hands? 71 We have subjected these to them, so that some may be used for riding and some for food, 72 Benefits and (divers) drinks have they from them. Will they not then give thanks? 73 They set up deities apart from Allah, hoping that they will receive help from them. 74 Those deities can render them no help. Yet these devotees act as though they were an army in waiting for them. 75 Therefore let not their speech grieve you; surely We know what they do in secret and what they do openly. 76 Hath not man seen that We have created him from a drop of seed? Yet lo! he is an open opponent. 77 And he strikes out a likeness for Us and forgets his own creation. Says he: Who will give life to the bones when they are rotten? 78 Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “They will be revived by the One Who created them the first time; and He is the All Knowing of every creation.” 79 who has made fire for you from the green tree with which you kindle' 80 Is not He who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the likes of them? Yes, [it is so]; and He is the Knowing Creator. 81 When He wills a thing He has only to say: "Be," and it is. 82 So exalted is He in whose hand is the realm of all things, and to Him you will be returned. 83
